At Interlingo, we place great importance on managing your privacy-sensitive data properly.
That is why we process and secure personal data with due care. We handle your personal and other data carefully and comply with relevant laws and regulations. In this privacy statement, we explain which personal data we process and for which purpose you may provide us with your personal data.
Purpose of the collection and processing of personal data
Personal data can be provided to us for the purpose of submitting an offer for your interpreting and translation services and/or for the provision of the services you can provide us with your personal data and the personal data of third parties. Your personal data will only be used for the purposes for which you have given us your consent. These purposes may be:

Security of your personal data
Our staff members and freelancers are subject to specific privacy requirements for the security of your personal data. They must sign a secrecy clause before the commencement of their employment or contract.
In addition, the security of your personal data is ensured by applying the need-to-know principle to the performance of a service and by only granting access to your personal data to those persons who actually work on your request. Employees and freelancers are also obliged to report any loss of personal data as soon as possible.
Your personal data is protected in writing as well as digitally according to the minimum statutory requirements. In addition, your personal data will not be kept longer than necessary, unless there is a legal obligation to keep these personal data longer.
When your personal information is no longer required, your personal data will be destroyed or returned. The choice is yours. You must indicate your choice in the consent form.
Your rights under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
As a data subject, you can use the “data subject rights form” to exercise your rights under the GDPR. You have the following rights under the GDPR:

We will process your requests within the statutory time limit and make use of the legal possibilities to grant or reject your request(s). If your request is rejected, we will substantiate this rejection.

When these web pages are visited, the following data are automatically stored and processed in a protocol for the purpose of providing the services: date and time of the page request, URL of the request, browser used (user agent), success or failure of the request (request status), size of the data received and sent, runtime.
Processing of these data is necessary for technical reasons in order to make the service available; the data can also be used to compile internal system and usage statistics. However, these are not data that can be traced back to certain individuals. Insofar as statistics are compiled to tailor the web page to users’ wishes, pseudonyms are used for this purpose.
Cookies are used occasionally when these web pages are visited. Cookies are stored in your browser to improve the quality of our service.
